The RIGBC chapter hired HCd at the end of 2009 to design an interface for their online green marketplace. In the process, HCd started a brand for the organization, which up to that point, had only what the USGBC mandated. A watercolor painting of a wave was introduced to give the RI brand a distinct Ocean State feel. Most of the branding was specified by USGBC standards, but HCd worked in and around their guidelines. A 3-panel brochure and business card was printed on tree-free paper made from limestone dust using UV inks (no VOCs). Paper was sourced from FSC Certified suppliers.
