Work for Artists

Artists have special needs when it comes to showcasing their work – it needs to take center stage, and yet, some of their own personality and aesthetic need to shine through so their site or book does not seem generic. This is always an interesting line to balance as we explore the aesthetic of their work and decide which elements we can use as a jumping-off point, and which we should let reside in the photos of the work itself. In a lot of ways, working for an artist is like collaborating with them and their work.
